The CATSI Act has very strict rules about the Qualifications and Independence of Auditors who are responsible for the auditing of registered organisations.
These rules also set out the responsibilities of the auditor and give the auditor powers to attend and speak at general meetings of organisations and to report directly to ORIC if the auditor wishes to do so.
Our auditor is Wakefield Business Group who have 50 years’ experience and they meet all the requirements of the CATSI Act in performing their role as auditors.
They are also members of the Chartered Accountants Institute of Australia and New Zealand, the professional body responsible for ensuring the highest standards in Accounting and Auditing.
