The study
This study aims to implement and evaluate an evidence-based, cost-effective community-approved model for Aboriginal Cancer Healing Centres. We hope that through this research, the model improves the experience and wellbeing of Aboriginal patients with cancer by assisting people to heal as well as supporting an environment where family and friends are a part of the healing process.
The outcomes of this study may provide evidence for further implementation of models for Aboriginal Cancer Healing Centres across regional and remote South Australia.
